Well, the sad news is that our camera is going haywire!  It will not show anything when you have it in the camera mode.  I was able to get the last of our pictures off of it, but I think it's pretty much toast after that.  We do have my old camera from WAY back (last picture taken on it was on my deployment to Iraq in 2007, but I had it for a while before that).  That thing drives me crazy though

January has been an exciting month for Nolan.  He's really figured out that he can now talk and his vocabulary is quite extensive for a 14 month old.  His words to date include: Mommy, Daddy Hi, bye water (probably his most frequently used word) banana cheese please (this one Grandma Teri taught him!) spoon, bowl key door up, down As you can see, most of his words revolve around food.  This

I made this chicken with gingered brown rice for dinner last night. While my husband didn't like it as much as the tomato soup from Monday, he thought it was pretty good. I REALLY enjoyed the rice. I started Nolan on solid foods over two months ago, but I limited his variety to rice cereal, bananas and avacadoes until recently. The next food that I've introduced is sweet potatoes. Nolan must have magnets in his hands! He's reaching out for EVERYTHING in his path. He grabs for my face, my coffee cup, the newspaper and just about anything I pick up. The cutest thing he reaches for though is my water glass. That's because I can share that with him. I love Joey-Bunz! We were having leaking issues with some of our cloth diapers, and rather than ditch those diapers, I wanted to see if an additional insert would help. We were using just one microfiber insert in the diaper and Nolan would leak through after about an hour. That's right! Even though Nolan has rolled over from his tummy to back a few times before, today he really figured out how to do it. I've put him on his tummy over 8 times and each time he rolls over. I think the key for him is to use his baby back arch to propel himself. What a thrilling thing to watch. Enjoy the video!
